Soil Extraction & Washing
The MT vegetable washer is specifically designed for washing and pre-soaking large capacities of tuberous products such as potatoes, carrots, parsnips, celeriac, red beets etc.
The washer contains a drum of about 1 m in diameter and a length of about 4 m, which is specially designed for young, sensitive tuber products. Sand and soil residues are removed in a product-friendly manner.
The drum hangs in 2 heavily toothed belts which together have one drive.
The circulation pump is mounted in the water tank of the machine, so that washing is done with minimal energy consumption and the water circulates from the input to the output.
Attached to the output is an infinitely adjustable shield, with which the flow time can be infinitely adjusted. The sludge is discharged centrally via a screw to a dump valve. Because this can be done with one valve, water consumption is minimal. There are also cleaning hatches in various places, making the machine easy and quick to clean as well as maintain.
