Soil Extraction & Washing
The MT stone-catcher is built as compact as possible to be scalably integrated into a process line.
The machine is made of stainless steel, with a design made so that everything is easy to clean.
The process is as follows: the product is delivered by a feed system; this can be a conveyor belt, conveyor screw, etc. The product is washed evenly through a flat chute, to a powerful upward flowing water column.
The base of the well force drives the product across the channel; the upward well force is matched to the product. Anything heavier than the heaviest individual product sinks down into the well channel. In this way, we achieve the separation of stones and heavy, foreign material.
An additional advantage is that the stone remover also has a washing effect on the product. Several choices are possible for the circulation flow of the water.
If stone removal is chosen in combination with washing, the washing drum can also be used as a water separation drum. In this case, the water is pumped back to the well channel via the water trap under the wash drum.
In case no washing is applied, then the stone remover can be implemented with a sieve compartment constructed directly behind the well, and thus the water can then be separated from the product.
In this case, a return water pump tank is then provided, from which a circulation pump pumps the water to the well channel.
