In the field of dried seaweed, Murre Technologies delivers a solution to optically sort your end product, in cooperation with Optimum Sorting.
The machine consists of an infeed shaker where the product is fed evenly across the full width of the machine. The product is transported on the belt of the sorter at high speed under the camera of the machine to recognize color differences and defects. Then it passes the laser module to distinguish product structures or recognize defects.
After the inspection, the defects are blown out with the precision ejection system transverse to the product direction.
The Novus is available in four models with scanning widths of 600, 1,200, 1,800 or 2,400 mm. The machine is easy to integrate into your current production line, including infeed and outfeed options. It is also possible to develop a complete processing line in combination with optical sorter(s).
