In development: Multifunctional sowing/harvesting machine for seaweed

Murre Technologies has taken the iniative in developing a new multifunctional seaweed sowing/harvestingmachine, by order of the project: “Wier & Wind“. It is a project of Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland.

Project description from Murre Technologies:

Design and build a multifunctional machine, what can be placed as a skid at a ship. This​ machine has the two functions of sowing and harvesting the seaweed in the Northsea.

Together with 6 partners this project aims to install and exploit a 2 hectares sustainable seaweedfarm in the Northsea nearby a windmill park. This is going to happen on the border between Flanders and The Netherlands.
